What Makes Bulgaria’s Winemaking History so Intriguing?

Did you Know?

The history of Bulgarian winemaking goes back to 1000 BCE during Thracian’s time. Thracians were mixed breed of natives & Indo-Europeans. They were red haired and local to the land of The Balkans. They were considered barbarians living in rural communities, spoke their own language and had a strong belief in culture & education. Thracians started fermenting grapes and making wine in the region first. That’s really fascinating!! 🍷🥂
