Bulgarian Tourism Scaled It’s Highest Point For A Second Year In A Row

Ms. Nikolina Angelkova, Minister of Tourism Bulgaria is spear heading the initiative “Share Bulgaria” in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture, Food & Forest. The scope of the undertaking is to divide Bulgaria into 12 Wine & Food Regions. Wine & Food are integral part of tourism in Bulgaria. Ms. Angelkova feels that tourists associate the country they visit with wine & local cuisine so it is eminent to characterize the region & it’s attractions by local produce & wines. The round table committee actively working on the project is expected to share their findings by the end of Fall this year. Once Wine & Food destinations are finalized, the results will be digitalized and published on 2 Bulgarian ministries websites and on iLoveBulgaria, an interactive portal that hosts more than 500 top tourist sites and special offers from Bulgarian local businesses. This is super exciting and about time that glory of the hidden gem in The Balkans is shared with rest of the World. Bulgaria has potential and Bulgaria offers more!! Nazdrave 🍷🥂🍇🍁🇧🇬
