No kidding, over 40 years ago this was Aral Sea in Central Asia, 4th largest landlocked sea in the world. Desiccation of Aral, a result of water management disaster in the history. Today the sea shrunk by more than 90% leaving a massive dried sea bed full of sand, salt and a cemetery of abandoned fishing boats now rattling & clanking by the wind. Team Trips Unusual was on the grounds of dried Aral recently and had a great adventure driving for miles on this arid landscape of Uzbekistan. What an adventure!!! 🥂🇮🇱
